Friends of Brentano is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Brentano Math & Science Academy through volunteer opportunities, fundraising and community engagement.
We are an all-volunteer group of Brentano parents, administrators, teachers, staff and community members who love Brentano and embrace the incredible diversity of our students and families. Come join us. Your participation will help ensure Brentano continues to be an extraordinary school in the heart of Logan Square.
Friends of Brentano operates independently of the school as a non-profit 501(c)(3).

We are Volunteers
Making a Difference
We are Brentano parents, administrators, teachers, staff and community members who are interested in supporting the school through volunteerism. We help plan, organize, and manage various events throughout the year. All levels of involvement are welcome and no time commitment is to big or too small.
We are Fundraisers
Reinforcing our Commitment
We find opportunities throughout the year to fundraise for Brentano, with our largest fundraiser being our annual Silent Auction. A few of the things we have raised money for are: Teacher Appreciation Week, school beautification and new landscaping, a popcorn machine for school events, new basketball backboards and gymnasium wall pads. Ongoing fundraising initiatives are: sound and lighting equipment for the Drama department, Art Supplies for each homeroom and a climbing wall.
